Local business owners are encouraged to meet with Colin and Mrs Fiona Simpson, the Shadow Minister for Employment and Small Business, Training and Skills Development. Dinner meetings have been arranged for Biloela, Gayndah and Gin Gin, with meetings in other towns of the electorate throughout the days.
Colin spoke to the Central Telegraph’s Louise Shannon to help with highlighting the issues that he feels that are important to businesses.
“We’re on a listening exercise. One of the problems the small communities face is population decline and the decline of services and how we deal with those issues into the future”.
The tour commences in Biloela on Sunday 25 November, travelling to Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera and Gayndah on Monday 26. Tuesday visiting Biggenden, Coalstoun Lakes and finishing with dinner at Gin Gin.
